Islanders clinch 2nd. place in NASL regular season

The Troops have secured their second place in the NASL regular season standings and will receive a first round bye in the upcoming playoffs. Up next for the Islanders is their last two home games of the season against the first place Carolina Railhawks and a rescheduled match against FC Tampa Bay. In player news, Puerto Rico National team Forward Héctor “Pito” Ramos has been loaned to the Orange Troops from Liga Nacional de Futbol side Criollos de Cagüas. Pito has played for Alacranes del Norte of the Salvadorian second division and for PRSL squads PR United and River Plate PR.
